We visited Spriros this evening to celebrate our 37th Wedding Anniversay, upon entering, we were greeted by a pleasant and VERY attentive staff. Apps and entrees were fabulous. Try the scallops wrapped in bacon and the portabella, mozzarella, tomato in balsamic and pesto sauce....that's just for starters....then the fun begins.....my husband had the blackend swordfish and I had Dianne's steak, FABULOUS!!!!!! Need I say more?? Hands up to this place, can't wait to return:-))
Arrived early as suggest, 7:15 for an 8:00 reservation was not seated until 8:45! While waiting and spending a ton of money at the bar no one even approached us to tell us they obviously overbooked the place for the night. Finally was comped a round of drinks and an appetizer upon telling the managers we were leaving. Food was ok at best. Steaks were undercooked, just warm and underwhelming. Side of mashed was flat out cold. Calamari was on the chewy side and tasted too fried. Lobster on the cold side as well. When I called the next day to express my dissatisfaction the manager, (Kamal) was rude, and confrontational. Bottom line you can do much better! Want a good steak go to Blackwells MUCH better food for less money! This trip was a WASTE of $300.00! WILL NOT BE BACK!
I went to Spiros this weekend and my experience was great. The place was packed out so I'd recommend a reservation if you're planning to go on a weekend. The was a wait but I wasn't going to complain being told by the gorgeous hostess. The drinks were on point along with the atmosphere. My waiter Vinny was attentive and well trained, the food was cooked to perfection along with very generous portions. I will definitely be going back!
